An 18th Century Imari Baluster Vase
Japan, 1700 to 1800

A very fine 18th century Japanese Imari baluster vase of large scale with a central panels decorated with blooming flowers and willow trees, surrounded by abstract foliage and geometric patterns. In tones of coral and blue, typical of Imariware of this period.

Now mounted as a lamp with a hand-gilded turned base.

All of our lamps can be wired for use worldwide. A variety of card, linen or silk lampshades are available on request.

Height of vase: 15 1/2 in (39 cm) including base, excluding electrical fitments and lampshades.
