A George II Walnut Wing Chair
England, circa 1735

A very fine George II walnut wing armchair, with outscrolled arms and serpentine shaped back, upholstered in silk damask with a fitted loose cushion, standing on particularly fine scallop shell carved cabriole legs to the front which terminate in excellent claw and ball feet with castors; the rear legs outswept with pad feet and similarly carved with scallop shells.
