A Pair of 19th Century Chinese Imari Vases
Japan, 1800 to 1900

A very fine pair of mid 19th century Chinese Imari vases, of square tapered form, particularly beautifully decorated in reds, blues and greens with gilt highlights with panels of garden scenery and floral bouquets with peonies and blossoms. Now mounted as lamps with hand-gilded moulded bases.

Height of vases: 16 3/4 in (42.5 cm)
Including base and excluding electrical fitments
Each base: 6 in (15 cm) square
At the widest point: 6 1/2 in (16.5 cm)
