A Pair of George III Silver Sugar Vases
England, 1785

A very fine pair of George III sterling silver sugar vases by Daniel Smith & Robert Sharp of London. Of urn form raised on circular foot with beading atop a square pedestal plinth. The reeded twin handles with acanthus decoration leading to a beaded edge, the conical lid with beaded disc surmounted by a dome and ball finial.

Marked underneath and part-marked to lid.
