A WILLIAM IV CENTRE TABLE
English, circa 1830

A very good large late Regency flame mahogany centre table of excellent original colour and patina. The top with book matched flame veneers formed to make a large heart shaped central grain pattern and cross banded and with down-standing shaped frieze around the circumference. The square section, slightly scalloped, tapering column supported on a quad-partite base, with shaped and moulded gadrooned feet. A table of generous proportions and excellent original colour.
