A JAPANESE PARQUETRY CABINET

A spectaular Japanese cabinet, inlaid throughout and on all sides with a geometric parquetry display of exotic woods, mounted with gilded copper handles and escutcheons engraved with traditional chrysanthemums and pomegranates. With one long drawer to the lower part of the cabinet, with double doors above opening to reveal a collection of drawers all veneered in highly figured cherry wood. The whole now mounted on a modern base designed in with suggestions of the East.
