A GEORGE II WALNUT BUREAU
English, circa 1755

A very rare George II walnut bureau of fine colour and proportion, the fall front enclosing a fitted interior with four pigeon holes and eight short and two long burr walnut veneered walnut-lined drawers above three external graduated drawers, all cross-banded and feather-banded throughout, on a stand with foliate-carved shaped apron, on cabriole legs and scroll feet, the handles later.
