Acquiring

We will be delighted to personally look at and assess pieces on behalf of our clients at auctions, with dealers or at the art and antique fairs; we can do this either independently on request or by accompanying our clients on their shopping trips.

This is an in-depth process that would involve initial analysis, vetting for authenticity, condition reporting, searching for competitive market comparisons, and establishing fair market prices.

We will assist and advise with the whole process of decision-making from initial selection and appraisal right through to agreement of terms and actual purchase; and at the same time make it an interesting and enjoyable experience. At all times we will, of course, operate under strictest confidentiality and discretion.
