An exceptional George II giltwood mirror in the manner of William Kent. The outstanding carved giltwood frame centred to the top with a female mask surmounted by a magnificent plume of feathers and scrolling acanthus leaves to the sides, the rectangular mirror plate bordered with carved bulrushes to the sides with wonderful shell motif to the base.
