A very fine pair of George III giltwood armchairs, in the French neo-classical taste, attributed to Ince & Mayhew. The oval shield back with giltwood show-frame carved to the cresting with a floral bouquet, with fluted arcade seat rail, the tapering legs similarly fluted and  surmounted with paterae, the plain collared back legs outswept. With silk upholstered back, seat and armrests.
