An outstanding early 18th century Chinese export lacquer bureau cabinet.  The cabinet decorated throughout with scenes of figures in landscapes, the arched cresting over two mirrored doors enclosing an architectural interior with shelves, drawers, dividers and sliding panels, the lower section with a slant front revealing further drawers, and pocket drawers either side of a central door, over three graduated drawers, the sides similarly decorated, on a shaped apron.
