A PAIR OF CANTON LAMPS

A fine pair of Chinese Canton porcelain and enamelled famille rose vases, of baluster form with a flared lobed rim, painted with precious and scholarly objects, surrounded by birds, butterflies and flowers against a gilded background, with chilong applied to the shoulders and Buddhist lion handles.

Now mounted as lamps with hand-gilded turned bases.

Height of vases: 18.5 in (47 cm) including gilded base, but excluding electrical fitment and lampshades.

All of our lamps can be wired for use worldwide. A selection of card, linen and silk lampshades can be supplied on request.
