A fine late 19th century Chinese famille verte baluster vase, finely decorated in the typical palette of predominantly shades of green on a white background. The chinoiserie decorative panels depicting flowering shrubs and stylised rocky outcrops with exotic birds, and alternately plants in decorative vases surrounded by scholars objects, with fine gilt metal foliate mounts, now mounted as a lamp.
Height to top of vase: 16 in (42 cm) including base but not the upper finial and electrical fitment, or lampshade.
