A fine pair of late 19th century Continental porcelain vases now mounted as lamps. The pistol handled vases painted on each side with an oval cartouche enclosing scenes simulating grisaille with figures amongst landscapes, with green leafy border tied to pink and gilt stylised drapery above and salmon-coloured harebells swags beneath, the waisted spreading socle raised on a square stepped base.
Height of vases: 16 in (41 cm) including giltwood bases but excluding electrical fitments or lampshades
Base: 6 in (15 cm) square
