A PAIR OF KUTANI LAMPS

A fine pair of late 19th century Japanese Kutani vases, of baluster form, beautifully painted in the typical palette of oranges on a white background with gilded highlights, with pheasants and other exotic birds armongst stylised foliage, flowers and landscapes, now mounted as lamps with hand gilded turned bases.

Height of vases: 15 3/4 in (40 cm) including giltwood bases, excluding electrical fitments and lampshades.

All of our lamps can be wired for use worldwide. A selection of card, linen or silk lampshades can be supplied on request.
