A superb large late 19th century silver table lamp. The Corinthian capped fluted column supported on a square plinth each side of which applied with a ribbon-tied laurel wreath, on a stepped square base with beaded borders.  Only side of the lowest step of the plinth dedicated with engraving: 'Mr. H. B. Moore, from the Registrars of his District, June 1907'. Hallmarked London 1899.
