A very fine and rare pair of early 18th century Japanese Imari baluster vases, decorated in the typical Imari palette of tones of blues and iron reds with gilded highlights on a predominantly white background, the main panels with superb flowering plants and foliage, butterflies and phoenix birds, now mounted as lamps with hand gilded turned bases.

Height of vases: 13 3/4 in (35 cm) including giltwood bases, excluding electrical fitments and lampshades.

All of our lamps can be wired for use worldwide, A selection of card, linen or silk lampshades can be supplied on request.
