A PAIR OF JAPANESE IMARI VASES

A fine pair of Japanese Imari vases, the baluster bodies decorated with continuous landscapes with Komainu flanked by dense chrysanthemum blossom and flowering trees in underglaze blue and iron red and green enamels, the waisted necks similarly with formalised iron red wide bands, the footrims with compartmented underglaze blue plain borders,  now mounted as lamps with hand gilded turned bases.


Height of vases: 13 in (33 cm) including giltwood bases, excluding electrical fitments and lampshades.

All of our lamps can be wired for use worldwide. A selection of card, linen or silk lampshades can be supplied on request.
