A fine early 19th century Delft vase, of reeded moulded octagonal ovoid shouldered form, the whole with painted blue floral and foliate panelled decoration, within shell and scrolling vertical borders, below a deep lappet border, the rim with a scrolling foliate band, the moulded foot with similar floral panels, above a confirming foliate banded border, now mounted as a lamp with a carved ebonised base.

Height of vase:  16 1/2  in (42  cm) including carved base, excluding electrical fitment and lampshade.
