A very rare George III satinwood and tulipwood crossbanded side table, of particularly small elegant proportions. The rectangular top with rounded front corners veneered with a superb panel of figured satinwood - with great colour and patination. The plain frieze with a hidden drawer similarly veneered in satinwood with fine tulipwood crossbanding. Standing on elegant plain round tapering legs, each with a carved collar detail at the top and a toupie foot.
