A GEORGE II MAHOGANY TABLE

england , circa 1750

An outstanding and very rare mid 18th century George II carved mahogany side table. Of magnificent proportions, the frieze carved a central acanthus framed shell flanked by gadrooing on the lower edge, the cabriole legs carved with further stylised acanthus leaves and beading terminating in bold and fabulously carved claw and ball feet. With a wonderful Breccia marble top.
