A very fine late 19th century Japanese Imari baluster vase, decorated in the typical Imari palette of tones of blues and iron reds with gilded highlights on a predominantly white background, the main panels with superb flowering plants and foliage, now mounted as a lamp with hand gilded turned base.
Height of vase: 13 1/4 in ( 34 cm) including giltwood bases, excluding electrical fitments and lampshades.
