china , circa 1820-1830

A magnificent early 19th century Chinese Canton 'Gu' shaped vase, painted in blues on a white background with gilded highlights in the Fitzhugh pattern, with brightly enamelled flowers, folaige and butterflies, with blue and gilt  diaper and key pattern borders. Now mounted as a lamp with a bespoke hand gilded turned base.

Height of vase: 16 in ( 41 cm) including giltwood base, excluding electrical fitment and lampshade.

All of our lamps can be wired for use worldwide. A selection of card, linen or silk lampshades can be supplied on request.
