A very fine George III period mahognay butlers tray, of rectangular form with curved hinged sides along the flaps to be either flat down for extra space or in the upright position, With brass hinges, and exceptional colour and natural figuring to the mahogany. Supported on a bespoke mahogany base made in the Chippendale taste with moulded square section chamfered legs united by cross stretchers.
