A superb pair of French Samson late 19th century famille verte porcelain baluster vases, decorated with panels of foliage and flowers, with mythical birds, and dragonflies with further stylised foliate detailing, predominantly in tones of green on a white background, now mounted as table lamps with hand gilded turned bases.

Height of vases: 18 in ( 46 cm) including giltwood bases, excluding electrical fitments and lampshades.
